Grigol Robakidze: various
Grigol Robakidze was the greatest writer/ novelist, publicist, dramatist and public figure of his time primary known his exotic prose and anti-Soviet émigré activities. Grigol Robakidze developed the themes of Vazha-Pshavela’s “The Snake-Eater” in The Snake Skin (Das Schlangenhemd) (also referred as The Snake’s Slough) which is one of his most notable works written and published in Georgian and German languages. Prominent Georgian and German writers, literary critics and linguists highly appreciate not only literary part of the novel, but also its language phenomenon (Georgian as well as German) and called Grigol Robakidze a genius writer.
